Actor Jang Geun Seok subscribes to Red Cross in Japan with all profits (10,126,004 Yen) from ‘Goods for Charity’ he sold online in Japan to help north eastern part of Japan destroyed by earthquake.
He secretly started aid efforts with donating via Red Cross in Japan and sending 5,000 of blankets.
Especially Jang Geun Seok said this donation is due to voluntary participation of fans in official website in Japan and he wanted to help even a little for destroyed area by earthquake so that he could donate all profits from ‘Goods for Charity’.
‘Goods for Charity’ sold this time includes ‘list band’ and ‘original card’ with message under the slogan “Don’t give up Japan” and sold in limited period from March, 17th to March 31st. Official fan’s website of Jang Geun Seok in Japan subscribed to Red Cross with all profits (approximately 10,000,000 Yen).
Jang Geun Seok said, “Thanks to all fans in Japan participating-I could donate all profits from ‘Goods for Charity’. I would like to do my best to give even a little help to not only Japan but anywhere in need with your compassion and supports.”
Jang Geun Seok shared the picture with picketing “Don’t give up Japan” and send cheerful message.
While he was busy with preparing for Asia tour and shooting CF in S.Korea and other Asian countries, he got spotlight as a model in Lotte duty-free shop and Santori Seoul rice wine.
He also prepares for ‘Asia Tour’ that he will meet fans in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and Shanghai. He will release his debut single in Japan on April, 27th.
